Watching what Cintria did by sharing her experience on social media, Boy Hamzah fully supports the courage of the student to speak up.

"Don't be insecure, don't be afraid to fight back," said Boy Hamzah in Tendean area, Jakarta, on Tuesday (17/10/2023).

When he was still in school, Boy Hamzah admitted that he was a victim of bullying. The difference is, at that time, he didn't have a platform to express the bad behavior he experienced.

"I used to experience it every day," said Boy Hamzah.

Therefore, Boy Hamzah highly appreciates people who dare to viralize the bullies. According to him, the society also needs to know their bad behavior so that they won't be given opportunities in the future.

"Those who like to bully won't become average people because they are envious. On the other hand, those who are bullied, if they stay on the right track, they will become successful individuals," said Boy Hamzah.

3. Remind to Take Bullying More Seriously

In addition, Boy Hamzah reminds that in the future, schools or campuses should take bullying perpetrators more seriously. Moreover, the perpetrators themselves should not be allowed to roam freely.

"Schools should be communicative, should be responsive in dealing with issues like this, so that there are no more victims, especially not until disability or mental disturbance. Don't forget to guide them, but they should also be given a deterrent effect," Boy Hamzah concluded.

Regarding the Cintria case itself, UIN Jambi has provided an explanation regarding the steps to request clarification from the student on social media. They also stated that the bullying case experienced by Cintria has actually been resolved, and the perpetrators have been strongly reprimanded.
