Admitting to Being Often Insulted by Haters and Receiving Threats After Performing Stand Up, Abdur Arsyad Doesn't Care

When met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, on Monday (5/6), Abdur admitted that he is often insulted by netizens because of his actions. Not only that, he even received a threat from an unknown person.

1. Doesn't Care

However, Abdur admitted that he doesn't care about it. He doesn't mind receiving hate speech, whether through Instagram DMs or mentions.

"If there are threats, it's common, but it's okay. Because if someone threatens, people's opinions can be different. Because what we're talking about is all about the social aspect of human life. From this point of view, it can be right, from that point of view, it can also be right. So from various perspectives, there are certainly pluses and minuses," said Abdur Arsyad.

"I don't mind if many people protest, insult me in DMs, or mention me directly, it's okay, no problem," he continued.

2. Threats are Considered Normal

When asked further, Abdur explained the nature of the threat he received. He considered the threat to be relatively ordinary and the person making the threat was using a fake account, not a real one.

"It's just like, 'be careful, or I'll show up here and do this or that,' but it's nothing serious, because nothing happens when I show up. It's really nothing, just like that, it hasn't escalated to anything... (being threatened with murder?) That's impossible, it's not like they're going to kill me, they're just threatening me like someone playing Mobile Legend, saying 'be careful, I'll take you on,' like that," he said.

"Zero posts. Zero followers on Twitter. If it's a real account, I'll respond to it," he added.
