The head of the Cilandak District Religious Affairs Office, Bunyamin, said that the dowry for the 38-year-old comedian's marriage was 13 grams of gold jewelry and cash worth 110,622 rupiah.
"Starting today, Saturday, June 11, 2022, their marriage is officially recognized and recorded in the country according to Islamic law," said Bunyamin.
"Thank God, the dowry mentioned was 13 grams of gold jewelry, and the cash of 110,622 rupiah used in the marriage contract, which is called ijab kabul," he added.
Bunyamin, who also married Adul and Whenty, said that the ijab kabul process went smoothly. Adul's friend, comedian Komeng, recited the ijab kabul with one breath.
"Thank God, Adul was well-prepared, so with one breath during the kabul, it was immediately declared valid by the two witnesses," he said.
This is Adul's second marriage. Previously, the Wara Wiri presenter was married to Alizia Noor Fatma. From that marriage, Adul and Alizia were blessed with one child. Unfortunately, Adul's first marriage ended in divorce, and he eventually married his beloved Whenty.
"As we all know, Adul's second marriage, he was a widower, while Whenty's first marriage means she was still single," concluded Bunyamin.
