Mahalini admits that she often contacts her stylist days in advance before an event to provide the visual references she wants. She doesn't just want to receive the final product; instead, she wants to contribute her creative ideas to each appearance.
"Usually when I'm at home or if I'm going somewhere, I just wear casual clothes, right? And now, with just a few days left, I’ve started chatting with my stylist who usually helps me," said Mahalini in the Senayan area on Wednesday (26/11/2025).
"It's because when I perform, whatever it is, the base always comes from me. For instance, my stylist might not want to get me angry, right? Hahaha," Mahalini added.
When praised by the media that her style never fails, Mahalini gave a rather unique response. She admitted she is afraid that if she answers that question confidently, netizens will label her as arrogant or a 'pick me' type.
"If I answer, I'll be called 'pick me' later. Hahaha. So it's really scary. What if my style never fails... it seems like it has before. I don't know, I'm also confused why it's like that," she said while laughing.
However, Mahalini then shared important tips on dressing. According to her, the key to looking attractive is understanding body shape and doing the right shaping, regardless of a person's body size.
"Maybe I think it has happened. But maybe there are some people who say that because of body selection, right?" she said.
"Because I think body shaping is really necessary. No matter how wide our hips are or whatever, shaping is very important," she concluded.
