After Breakup, Marsha Aruan Reveals Feeling Far From God While Dating El Rumi

"Your prayers used to be like 'Well, I want to be with him no matter what,' but yeah, it flowed like that. Because I hadn't been baptized yet, so I didn't understand too much," she explained.

Marsha admitted that she actually realized that she had been far from God all this time, until she finally decided to be baptized and delve into her religion. "Funny thing is, after the breakup, I felt that during my past relationships, I wasn't that attached to God, like I wasn't close. I've always been a Christian, not just any kind of Christian," said the 24-year-old girl.

She revealed that she now has many friends from the church who are bringing her closer to God. However, she also denied that El had been the one who kept her away from God all this time. Since she was little, she rarely worshiped, and breaking up with Al Ghazali's brother was a turning point in her life to get closer to God.
