Kapanlagi.com - Singer Agnez Monica, or better known as Agnez Mo, will be summoned by Bareskrim Polri in relation to the case of alleged copyright infringement of the song Bilang Saja. This was stated by the lawyer of the song's composer, Ari Bias, Mario at Bareskrim Polri on Wednesday (10/7/2024).
"The investigator mentioned the summoning of the suspect (Agnez Mo) after the witnesses were examined," said Mario.
Meanwhile, Ari Bias stated that, until now, there has been no good faith from Agnez Mo herself regarding the case of alleged copyright infringement.
"So far, until we came here, Agnez Monica has not contacted us," he said.
Ari Bias himself has undergone an examination regarding his report against Agnez Mo for alleged copyright infringement of the song Bilang Saja.
"I am accompanied by legal counsel, the agenda is to clarify the BAP statement regarding my report on the alleged copyright infringement committed by Agnez Mo," Ari Bias concluded.
Ari Bias stated that until now, Agnez Mo herself has shown no good faith regarding the case of alleged copyright infringement.
"So far, until we came here, Agnez Monica has not contacted us," he concluded.
As previously reported, the case involving Agnez Mo and Ari Bias began when the singer performed the song Bilang Saja at a concert in 3 cities organized by HW Group. Ari Bias, as the creator of the song Bilang Saja, did not receive any royalty rights from Agnez Mo.
