Ahead of the Celebration of Indonesia's Independence Day, Atta Halilintar Releases a New Single Titled 'Torang Indonesia'

Kapanlagi.com - Ahead of the celebration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, Atta Halilintar releases a new song titled Torang Indonesia. In this song, the husband of Aurel Hermansyah raises the theme of Indonesian unity.

Atta Halilintar expresses his pride in the high level of tolerance in Morotai, North Maluku. He even witnessed firsthand what is happening there.

"I respect the places of worship there, churches and mosques take turns, living on the same land they respect each other," said Atta during a press conference in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Monday (12/8/2024).

"If it can be an example for all Indonesians, regardless of different skin colors and beliefs, we are still Indonesia," added the father of two children.

1. About Indonesia

In the process of creating this song, Atta incorporated various musical elements. Everything is packaged so that the work sounds unique and diverse.

"The music includes classic rock, pop, dangdut, afro, and ethnic music. This is a unique and diverse work all in one song, just like the diversity of Indonesia that becomes a unity," explained Atta.

Torang Indonesia, Atta said literally means we are Indonesia. Despite different skin colors and various differences, it does not change the fact that we all come from Indonesia.

"It’s okay that our skin colors are different, it’s okay that our religions, ethnicities, and languages are different, but in our hearts, we are all Indonesia. We unite in the name of Indonesian children," he said.

2. Involving Many Musicians

In this song, Atta Halilintar also involves Aurel Hermansyah, Anang Hermansyah, and Ashanty. Additionally, five musicians from Maluku who contributed are Hasail, Alan Darmawan, Susi, Carmen, and Safril.

The involvement of local eastern musicians, especially from North Maluku, is also encouraged by Benny Laos, the Regent of Morotai for the 2017-2022 period. Benny Laos hopes that the Torang Indonesia song project can enhance tourism and the creative industry in Morotai and North Maluku.

"My goal is to revive the tourism and creative industry in Morotai and North Maluku," concluded Benny.
