Ahmad Assegaf Withdraws Appeal, Tasya Farasya Officially Divorced

"After our press conference two days ago, yesterday afternoon Mr. Ahmad withdrew his appeal," said Sangun Ragahdo when confirmed by the media crew, Friday (28/11/2025).

As of this news being published, there is still no definite information regarding the reasons behind Ahmad Assegaf's change of stance. Sangun admitted that he only received official information from the court without any detailed explanation regarding the motive behind the withdrawal of the appeal from the defendant.

He also hesitated to speculate further regarding the decision of his client's ex-husband. "I don't know (the reason Ahmad withdrew the appeal). I only received a notification from the Religious Court," said Sangun.

With the withdrawal of this appeal, the divorce decree that was read by the panel of judges on November 12, 2025, has now become legally binding or final. The mother of Maryam Eliza Khair and Hasan Isa Assegaf has officially and legally separated from the man she married in 2018."Yes, that's correct (the divorce decree is final)," Sangun confirmed his client's status.

Previously, the situation had heated up and made the public wonder when Ahmad Assegaf filed an appeal just one day before the deadline expired. This legal action caused the divorce decree, which was supposed to be final on Wednesday (26/11/2025), to be postponed. Tasya's side also expressed disappointment because this separation process has become prolonged.

"Just yesterday, we received an update from the Religious Court, I received a notification that the defendant has filed an appeal. It was supposed to be final today (having legal force), but since the appeal was filed yesterday, the process is still ongoing," said Sangun in Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (26/11/2025).

Just a flashback, the marriage of Tasya Farasya and Ahmad Assegaf, which often appeared harmonious on social media, has finally come to an end. After seven years of building their household since February 18, 2018, the daughter of Ala Alatas filed for divorce on September 12, 2025. Now, both are officially living their separate lives with a new status.
