Ahmad Dhani is filled with happiness throughout the year 2025. After successfully marrying his eldest son, Al Ghazali, now it's El Rumi's turn who is rumored to be next. The frontman of the band Dewa 19 revealed that El Rumi is planned to propose to Syifa Hadju in 2026.

Unlike the series of weddings for Al Ghazali which took place with a long series of traditional ceremonies, Ahmad Dhani mentioned that there is a possibility that El's wedding will be slightly different. Dhani expressed that it is highly likely there will be no "ngunduh mantu" ceremony for his second son's wedding, although the final decision remains in El Rumi's hands.

"In 2026, there will also be El's wedding. But maybe there won't be a 'unduh mantu' event," said Ahmad Dhani when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Friday (19/12/2025).

Dhani further explained that he has to consider El's wishes regarding the series of major events. Considering the time gap between Al Ghazali's wedding and El's planned wedding is relatively close, Dhani admitted that he needs to ask his son again about the readiness for an additional party from the groom's family.

"Hmmm, I don't know. Maybe because El's request isn't as strong as before, right? The 'unduh mantu' event is one that I should prepare. Because it's too close to the last one, so we need to ask El if he wants to, if he intends to hold the 'unduh mantu' event," said Ahmad Dhani.

Although the details of the series of events are still being discussed by the extended family, it seems that initial preparations have already begun to take place gradually. "We just made the outfit for the proposal," said Ahmad Dhani.

Regarding a more specific time for the event, Dhani has not revealed the exact date to the public. However, he gave a slight hint that the sacred moment is likely to take place in the middle of the year 2026. The certainty of next year is the main focus of the family in preparing everything to ensure it goes smoothly.

"Next year, everything is still next year. (The wedding) Basically in the middle," said Dhani. Regarding the concept to be carried out, El Rumi reportedly still wants to maintain ancestral traditions in his wedding moment.

Dhani provides an overview that there will be differences in the customs used in El's wedding ceremony compared to Al Ghazali's previous wedding which incorporated Sundanese elements.

"The concept is Javanese, definitely Javanese. But not as Javanese as yesterday. Oh, but this is not about the 'unduh mantu' (a traditional wedding ceremony), because for El, there hasn't been an 'unduh mantu', there isn't a concept for making an 'unduh mantu' event. When we talk about the akad (marriage contract), it's a Javanese akad. Al's was Sundanese, this one is a Javanese akad," concluded Dhani.
