In a festive event, Dr. Boyke celebrated four decades of marriage known as the Ruby Wedding Celebration, attended by family, relatives, and close friends.
In his post, Dr. Boyke expressed gratitude to everyone who took the time to attend and share happiness with him and his wife. He referred to the moment as a celebration of love, togetherness, and the long journey they have gone through together.
"Thank you to amancu, all the committee, the hosts, brothers and sisters, and friends who have taken the time to attend our 40th Ruby Wedding Celebration. May we continue to share happiness with all of you. Love you all. May God always grant us love, abundance of peace, and happiness in this life. Amen..amen YRA," Dr. Boyke expressed with deep emotion.
Not only sharing happiness, the father of three children who has been married since 1986 also conveyed a profound message about the meaning of marriage that can be emulated.
"Marriage is not about who is right, but about who is willing to endure and grow together in unconditional love. There is no need to be noisy with each other, as it grows in a mesmerizing calmness," Dr. Boyke stated in his post quoted on Thursday (18/12/2025).
According to him, a household is not about finding out who is the most right, but about the willingness to endure, process, and grow together in sincere unconditional love. This value is what he believes to be a strong foundation in his 40-year marriage journey.
This celebration serves as an inspiration and a sweet reminder that amidst the hustle and bustle of problems and differences, love nurtured with patience and calm can endure through time.
