Ahmad Dhani Reveals Al Ghazali is Very Angry that His Younger Sister is Being Bullied, Reports Account from Banda Aceh to the Police

Ahmad Dhani speaks out about the alleged bullying experienced by his daughter, Shafeea Ahmad (SA), on social media. The musician, who is also known as the frontman of Dewa 19, stated that his family is very angry after seeing SA's face used in content from the Lita Official account.

"No, we just want to explain that this is indeed a violation of the law. So that Shafeea understands this is a violation of the law and that Mom and Dad will take this to the police, we as parents are protecting our child," said Dhani when met at the KPAI office, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (9/7/2025).

Dhani does not prohibit his daughter from using social media, but he chooses to provide an understanding that is appropriate for her age.

He believes that as a parent, his duty is to ensure that his children understand what is permissible and what is not in the digital world.

Additionally, Dhani also mentioned that his eldest son, Al Ghazali, had shown initiative to report social media accounts that were deemed to violate rules. Unfortunately, procedurally, such reports must be made by parents.

"Actually, it was his older brother, Al, who wanted to report first. But because in legal procedures it has to be the parents who report. Recently, Al wanted to report an account from Banda Aceh. But when Al wanted to make the report, it had to be done by his parents," said Dhani.

The Dhani family chose to take legal action as a firm step against the perpetrator who is considered to have crossed the line.

He wants to ensure that his children know that they are not left alone when facing problems like this.

On that occasion, Dhani also explained that there has been a change in Shafeea's attitude after the incident. He feels relieved because Shafeea is able to understand the situation with a fairly rational mind for her age.

"Yes, there is, fortunately I managed to convey that, this child is 14 years old, already able to accept rational things, so her mind is already rational, so we just need to explain, you know, there is slander, so this is how it is," said Mulan Jameela's husband.
