The process of giving birth to the first child of Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise turns out to have an interesting story. Ahmad Dhani revealed that he actually hoped the grandchild would be born on Friday Kliwon.
This hope arose because according to Dhani, Friday Kliwon is a special time. However, the plan did not materialize because Alyssa Daguise chose to wait for the natural opening process without medical assistance.
"Alyssa doesn’t want to be induced. As for me, I wanted to be induced so it would be Friday Kliwon. Yes, Friday Kliwon is good. It’s a special weton. Just like my weton," said Ahmad Dhani when met at JWCC Asih Hospital, South Jakarta, Sunday (10/05/2026).
Alyssa herself has been in the hospital since midnight before finally giving birth on Sunday morning at 08:00 WIB. The entire extended family, including Safeea Ahmad, has been eagerly anticipating this historic moment.
"The one on the video call is Safeea. Since the night before, Safeea has been video calling with Alyssa. She went to the hospital at midnight, around 12 o'clock back then," said Ahmad Dhani.
Dhani emphasized that in welcoming his first grandchild, he did not prepare luxurious gifts specifically made for social media content. He admitted he is not the type of person who likes to show off gifts.
"I rarely give gifts, actually. Especially gifts that are for content like that, I'm not really that kind of person," said Ahmad Dhani.
When met in the hospital lobby, Dhani admitted that he has not yet felt the deep emotions of being a grandfather or "Jiddi." This is because he has not yet met the baby girl named Soleil Zephora Ghazali face to face.
"I can't say anything yet because I haven't seen her and I haven't experienced it. So I can't feel it yet. Later, when I see her, then I can," said Ahmad Dhani.
