Aiming for a Healthier Life, Pampam's Secret to Losing 38 Kg in a Year

Kapanlagi.com - Pampam explains that he actually started his exercise habits even before losing his older brother. However, that incident made him more committed to making exercise an important part of his life.

"So before my brother passed away, I was already exercising, but when that incident happened, you have to be more committed," said Pampam in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (3/1/2025).

1. Becoming a Fitness Brand Ambassador

One of the main motivators is the facilities he receives as a brand ambassador at a fitness center. Pampam feels this is an opportunity that should not be wasted. Now, with free facilities and a not-too-busy schedule, Pampam feels this is the right moment to improve himself.

"As one of the fitness brand ambassadors, I thought, what other opportunities are you passing up? Maybe before I got that facility, I used to say, oh, going to the gym is expensive, it's a waste of money," he said.

2. Lose Weight Up to 38 Kg

From that exercise routine, Pampam achieved a significant milestone in terms of weight loss. In about a year, he managed to lose up to 38 kilograms.

"I posted a before and after about a year ago, how I lost 38 Kg. So it's like there was a before when I was not consistent and after being consistent," he said.

3. Once Lacked Self-Confidence

However, Pampam does not deny that his previous condition made him less confident. He joked about how he felt when looking at his body in the past.

"Back then, when I looked in the mirror, damn, I looked like a pig, I swear you looked like a little pig," said Pampam while laughing.

4. Comfortable with His Healthier Body

Now, however, Pampam is more confident and comfortable with his healthier body. Besides for physical health, Pampam has another target that serves as additional motivation, which is to obtain health insurance. He feels that his previous weight condition was a barrier to meet those requirements.

"Of course, I am in the insurance world, but I don’t have health insurance. It’s a slap in the face that I don’t have it because sometimes my weight isn’t ideal," said Pampam.

5. Health Insurance for Pampam

Pampam realizes that health insurance is very important to guarantee the future. He believes that having insurance can lighten the burden when facing emergency situations.

"So I have to be healthier, at least I can be covered by life insurance, for me health insurance is very important. Because when you are sick, your task is to recover, so you don't have to worry about the costs of treatment, it would be a disaster if I were in that situation, to be able to get that facility," he concluded.
