The Jayapura-born man shared the latest news about his wedding preparations when contacted on Tuesday (26/5) yesterday. He admitted that marriage is something that should not be postponed.

"Regarding the date, it's actually after Aldi meets his parents. After meeting them, if it's possible, we can have the marriage ceremony right away, because we shouldn't delay religious obligations. Actually, Aldi needs to meet them in person, shake hands, kiss their hands, and express his good intentions. If it has to be done right away, we can just call the marriage officiant, considering the circumstances," said Aldi Taher.

1. Still Waiting for KUA News

Until now, Aldi says that he is still waiting for news from the KUA. According to him, marriage is an act of worship to Allah.

"Yes, Aldi doesn't know yet, to get married and get the marriage book, yesterday I heard that the KUA is on hold. Aldi hasn't asked whether it has been opened or not. Because, in marriage, the woman's domicile is important, I have a letter from the neighborhood association (but) the marriage permission is there," explained Aldi.

"I don't know how the KUA office there is, if asked about marriage, marriage is for Allah. The legality is for the future in the book, the birth certificate when the child is born, if asked if it is valid, it is valid according to religion without a marriage book. But the family there wants this, so the consideration is until there is a marriage book. Moreover, the woman's side wants it, that's the consideration," he continued.

When asked about Salsabillih's feelings about arranging a wedding in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, Aldi admitted that they felt sad. However, they can get through it by always praying to God Almighty.

"If asked if we are sad, Aldi and Salsabillih are indeed sad, because it's not just about marriage, delayed work is also sad. They also can't meet their parents, which is also sad. But we shouldn't dwell too much on sadness, we should seek refuge in Allah, pray for guidance and smoothness. If we declare ourselves sad, then we will be sad," he concluded.
