Aldi's Burger business owned by Aldi Taher not only brings financial profit but also has a positive social impact in the Cempaka Putih area. Aldi revealed that before his outlet opened, the location was known to be quite prone to criminal acts such as theft and mugging.
Now, with many customers queuing until late at night, the atmosphere in the area has become much busier and safer. This is a particular pride for Aldi, who wants his business to bring benefits to many people.
"And I have a permit, thank God I opened a business there with a permit. The area near Aldis Burger was previously unsafe. There were many thieves, many robbers. Thank God Aldis Burger is here, it has become lively, a blessing for the place," said Aldi Taher when met in the Thamrin area, Central Jakarta, Saturday (11/04/2026).
The success of the MSME that Aldi is running has caught the attention of the governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung. Aldi admitted to receiving moral support and appreciation for his contribution to advancing the people's economy in Jakarta.
"Thank God yesterday Mr. Pramono Anung also prayed for and supported MSMEs to grow. Aldis Burger continues to, mashallah, soar, selling well, opening many branches. Thank you for the prayers, always a blessing," he expressed.
As a cancer survivor, Aldi Taher's work ethic is truly commendable. He admits that his greatest motivation to keep creating comes from the message of the late father of Vidi Aldiano, who always encouraged him to stay happy.
"I am a cancer fighter, a cancer survivor, and I keep working. Because of the message from the late Papi Vidi Aldiano, after filming PodHub was done, he came to me: 'Kak Aldi, just keep creating, keep smiling, keep being happy'," recalled Aldi.
Regarding his often quirky burger promotion ideas that mention big-name artists, Aldi admits that these ideas come spontaneously. He mentioned that this inspiration came after he regularly read the holy scriptures.
"In the name of Allah, the idea came from the effect of reading the Quran. I also don't know, suddenly there was an idea: Aldis Burger Cempaka Putih, the bread is soft, the meat is juicy, Mulan Jameela, Krisdayanti, Raul Lemos can order online," he concluded.
