Aliff Alli Finally Meets His Child, Aska Ongi Responds Coldly

Kapanlagi.com - After almost two years, Aska Ongi finally allowed Aliff Alli to meet their child, Putri Alyssa Ismillah Khan.

This meeting occurred at the request of the Judge of the Central Jakarta Religious Court. As it is known, the process of the isbat marriage and divorce trial of Aliff Alli with Aska Ongi is still ongoing.

1. Cold Response

When asked about this meeting, Aska Ongi responded coldly. She questioned why this moment only happened now. If Aliff Alli had been good all along, she would have allowed him to meet their child.

"Logically, as a mother, I would be happy to see my child happy. But why does it have to be today, in a good way like that. Why not earlier," said Aska Ongi at Trans Studio Mall Cibubur, Tuesday (18/5).

"Actually, if the approach is good, I would definitely allow it. Like this, it's done in a good and formal way, and they contacted my lawyer through WhatsApp to arrange a meeting with the child, where the appointment is and clearly accompanied. It's not like yesterday, sneaking into the yard and causing trouble, that's not good," she continued.

2. Still Traumatized

Aska Ongi also explained the reason why he has been blocking Aliff Alli from meeting their child, because he is still traumatized by the domestic violence he experienced.

"I am also afraid because there have been incidents like physical abuse, many times, not just once or twice, there are many factors including verbal violence. There are events that have caused trauma. What child would be willing to see their mother being hit, especially while still in the womb," he said.

3. Not Talking to Each Other

Although they both faced each other in the meeting, they did not greet or talk to each other. Despite Aliff Alli's efforts to communicate with Aska Ongi.

"There is no (talking to each other). I have always tried to initiate conversations several times, but it always failed and instead became gossip about me, it backfired on me. My good intentions were turned into something bad for me. If he wants to talk to me, anytime, anywhere, just let me know, I am ready to meet him," concluded Aliff Alli.
