Kapanlagi.com - The controversy surrounding allegations of sexual harassment at Miss Universe Indonesia (MUID) 2023 is still ongoing. This time, contradictory statements were made by Grace Bersyeba, who is also a representative contestant from Maluku.
Grace admitted that she was confused because there were many questions about the case on her social media account. Therefore, Grace finally spoke up.
"Grace (I) am NOT a victim of sexual harassment during the quarantine period at MUID 2023," Grace said in her Instagram post on Friday (25/8).
Initially, Grace was reluctant to comment when asked about the harassment issue in the Miss Universe pageant. But in the end, Grace decided to comment because she didn't want people who know her to be confused about the truth of the rumors.
"The initial statement 'Congratulations, Grace' gradually turned into questions like 'What were you doing?' and 'Are there any photos?'. Not once or twice, but many times," she said.
"Honestly, Mama and Papa initially handled this situation well, but when those questions kept coming up in every conversation, a sense of shame emerged," she added.
