Almost Forty Years Old, Here's Why Ivan Gunawan Still Reluctant to Get Married

Kapanlagi.com - Ivan Gunawan is not kidding in the latest podcast of Ruben Onsu. Accompanied by Ayu Ting Ting, this famous designer reveals the reasons why he has not yet married, even though he is already mature. 

The 38-year-old man said that for him, marriage is about aligning the thoughts between partners. He also revealed that instead of rushing into marriage, Igun just wants to build a close relationship with his future wife.

"For me, I prefer to get closer first, live together for example. I'm very Western," said Ivan Gunawan on Ruben Onsu's podcast, Wednesday (10/6/2020). 

1. Not Yet Married a Priority

Ivan Gunawan also highlights the success of someone on social media. In essence, success is when they are already married. However, for Igun himself, getting married is not currently a top priority for him. 

"For me, it's like this, I mean, on social media it seems like the benchmark of a successful person's happiness is getting married. But what I mean is, getting married is not something, I don't know, maybe until now I haven't found the point of 'okay Gun, you're married'. Because what I mean is getting married has not become a priority in my life," he explained. 

2. Marriage is Not Just for Sensation

According to Ivan Gunawan, marriage is not something that can be played around with. For him, getting married is not just about seeking sensation, having offspring, but it is more than that. 

"If I have to marry any woman, I have to treat her as a life partner. Not just as an obligation, not just for seeking news, not just for seeking offspring alone," he explained. 

"So actually, a life partner is someone who is most comfortable for us in any condition, that's what I think," he concluded.
