When met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, recently, Egi Fazri admitted that he does not really care about such opinions. He stated that his relationship with Eva is not overly publicized and Egi emphasized that he truly loves the former mother-in-law of Inara Rusli.
To prove this, Egi said that they have exchanged rings as a symbol of their bond.
"We’re not the type to rush into things, it’s not like that. We’re taking it slow, getting to know each other first. So yesterday, to avoid getting too upset, we decided to exchange rings first," said Egi Fazri.
"It’s a bond, right, as a sign that we are serious. On my mom's side, it's on my behalf, and on my side, it's on my mom's behalf," he added.
On the same occasion, Eva Manurung admitted she was shocked by what her boyfriend did. She claimed she did not expect Egi to buy rings for both of them.
"I was surprised. We were shopping, and he suddenly rushed into a store to pick out rings. I thought he was just browsing for a men's ring or something," said Eva Manurung.
"I didn’t catch on. Then he said, 'Come here.' I asked why. He said, 'This is a couple ring, try it on, does it fit you?' Hah, what’s this for? He was laughing and smiling," she added.
In addition, Egi explained that the ring he gave is indeed a form of his sincere love. Egi Fazri also wants to emphasize to netizens that their relationship, which is thought to be just a setup, is not true.
"Because all this time many people have said it's a setup. Well, I'm not that kind of person. If I get married in a hurry, I'm afraid my friends will know that it's just for show, I don't want that. We want to genuinely be with each other," concluded Egi.
