Kapanlagi.com - Recently, the beautiful artist Amel Carla along with her sister, parents, and also her household assistant were diagnosed with Covid-19. Amel then shared her experience during an interview.

When she found out she was positive for Covid-19, Amel Carla along with her sister and household assistant immediately underwent self-isolation at home. Meanwhile, her parents underwent self-isolation at the hospital.

"I was in isolation for 24 days and the experience was up and down, very sad. Because at first, I was the one who tested positive at home. Then it turned out that the household assistant also tested positive, suddenly my parents and sister were out of town. I was at home with the household assistant and my sister," said Amel Carla on Trans TV, recently.

"It turned out that my mother tested positive when she returned to Jakarta. My sister also tested positive, like 'oh how is the isolation going to be'. It turned out that my mother had to go to the hospital because she is over 50 years old and her cough was quite severe. Alhamdulillah, she still got a room at the hospital because it wasn't completely full. Thankfully, everyone has recovered by my birthday last month," continued Amel Carla.

1. Amel's Struggle to Recover

Actually, Amel Carla's condition has improved and she is in good health after undergoing self-isolation for 10 days. She is able to perform some daily activities.

However, when she took another swab test, the result was still positive. Despite maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep.

Even after two weeks of self-isolation, the result of her swab test remained positive. Amel is determined to fight and recover from Covid-19.

"I feel like, they said that on the 10th day, if it's positive, after three days it should be negative. Even on the seventh day, there were no symptoms, so I was confident that the swab test would be negative. Suddenly, it's still positive. Even though I've been eating healthy, exercising, and getting enough sleep," she said.

2. Ways to Avoid Stress

Meanwhile, Amel Carla's parents, who were also in isolation at the hospital, recovered from Covid-19 earlier. Amel then resumed self-isolation at home for 24 days. After that, Amel Carla took another swab test and the result was negative for Covid-19.

"I was a bit down, like 'why is it taking so long?'. Then on the second week, I took another swab test and it was still positive. I was really stressed, like 'why am I not becoming negative?'. I've been exercising, eating healthy, and getting enough sleep. Turns out, my mother at the hospital became negative faster. She only took 10 days, while I took 20 days," said Amel.

Amel Carla has a clever way to avoid excessive stress during self-isolation at home. To prevent her immunity from decreasing due to the swab test results still being positive, Amel Carla always focuses on positive things.

"My way to avoid stress is to fill my days with positive things. I just watch cartoons, things that make me happy. I read books and try to find the lessons in them, considering it as a time for rest and getting closer to God," concluded Amel Carla.
