Amel Carla Says It's Been a Year of Dating, Not Thinking About Marriage Yet: Still Have Many Life Goals!

"Well, my friends must have found their match, destiny is also in God's hands. So, it means their plans are like that, and our plans are different," said Amel Carla when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Monday (19/5/2025). 

At the age of 23, Amel feels that she is not in a hurry to follow in the footsteps of her friends who have already started families. She emphasizes that she currently wants to focus on pursuing education and business.

"I don't know, I'm still 23 years old. But compared to my friends, maybe they are just ready, while I still have so many things I want to achieve, I still want to pursue a master's degree first, then I want to try doing business and other things," she explained.

Amel realizes that everyone has their own life plans. According to her, it is natural for some to choose to marry young, while others prefer to build a foundation for life first.   "So, humans plan, right? Humans make plans, and Allah determines how the results will be?" she said.

When asked how long she has been in a relationship with her boyfriend, Amel casually replied that they have entered their first year together.   "How long is it guys? It's been a year, it's been a year," she answered briefly.

However, even though they have been dating for quite a while, Amel mentioned that there hasn't been any serious conversation about marriage. She prefers to leave everything to time and God's plan.   "Oh, I don't know, let's just pray for the best because even though we're still young, we are not kids anymore, we're actually getting older, so let's just pray that all good plans can be achieved," she said.

Interestingly, her boyfriend is not from the entertainment world. Amel said they met because they share the same hobby outside of work.   "No. But he's not from the entertainment circle, we met through our hobbies," she said.
