He was recently highlighted again. This is because he was asked by Maia Estianty on her Youtube channel. "Do you want to have a mother-in-law like me or not?" asked Maia.
"It should be Bunda (Maia) who asks, does Bunda want a son-in-law like Bulan?" replied Bulan Sutena. Maia also gave a fairly open answer to that question.
"I, if God allows it, why not?" answered Maia with a laugh. Interestingly enough, it wasn't just that question that made Bulan feel embarrassed.
"If you were asked to choose, do you prefer Al or El?" asked Ahmad Dhani's ex-wife without hesitation. Perhaps, Bulan did not expect to be asked that question.
"I think El is more humorous, don't you? Do you like to joke around?" she answered while blushing. She also didn't believe that El and Al were both single.
The moment quickly received reactions from netizens. Many of them pointed out Bulan's Hindu religion, while Maia and her children embrace Islam.
Meanwhile, other netizens considered Maia's statement to be just a joke. According to them, it is common for a mother to joke like that when meeting a beautiful girl.
Just like Maia and her children, Bulan has also been involved in the music world since she was young. She learned to play guitar by herself.
