Anang and Ashanty Cancel Selling House and Choose to Renovate, Want the Atmosphere to be Instagramable

Kapanlagi.com - Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty canceled selling their luxurious house. After almost being deceived by a couple from Malaysia who claimed to be rich and would buy in cash, but it turned out to be all empty talk and made Ashanty angry.

After some time, Ashanty and Anang decided to cancel selling their house. She revealed this through the YouTube show The Hermansyah A6.

1. Renovation

Instead of selling the house, Anang and Ashanty chose to do a renovation. They have called contractors and architects to make changes to their house to make it more comfortable.

"So let me tell you the journey of why I renovated. Because I originally wanted to sell the house, but I was deceived. Well, I can't say I was deceived," said Ashanty.

2. Uncomfortable House

As it turns out, Anang and Ashanty rarely stay at Istana Cinere. Most of the time, this family spends outside the house, such as traveling to other cities which sometimes can last up to three weeks.

"And I never stay at home. Only during this lockdown, I stay at home, so I just realized that the house is like this. Then we started to spend more time in the apartment because it's neat and comfortable. Then coming back home feels less comfortable," said Ashanty.

3. Many Changes Made

To the contractor and architect, Ashanty asked for several changes to be made to Istana Cinere. She wants to remove the large pillars in the house and change the position and model of the stairs.

Some rooms were also demolished to make the rooms more spacious. Meanwhile, some other rooms were modified to make them more comfortable to live in.

"I want the house to be Instagrammable," said Ashanty.

"So all those spots can be used for photos or for creating YouTube content," replied Aurel.
