Andika Kangen Band Reports to the Police Because His Child is Bullied by Other Students' Parents at School

Kapanlagi.com - Andika Kangen Band expressed his frustration on Instagram after finding out that his child, with the initials MMB, was being bullied by other students' parents. Andika found out that his child was being bullied by other students' parents while he was working out of town.

In his IG Story post, Andika spoke about the chronology of the bullying and expressed his dissatisfaction with his son being insulted with inappropriate words and sentences.

"When I was out of town, I suddenly received a report that my child was being intimidated by one of the parents, who happened to attend a school event that day where parents were allowed to attend," wrote Andika.

"My child, accompanied by his sister, was suddenly called out of the class and shouted at and insulted to the point of using inappropriate words that should not be heard by children," he continued.

1. The Child Falls Ill

Andika's frustration continues to grow after seeing the impact of the verbal abuse, which has traumatized his child and made them sick. He also expressed deep disappointment towards the parents of the student involved.

"As a result, my child is currently traumatized and sick. Of course, as a parent, I cannot accept my child being treated like that," he explained.

"Ideally, issues regarding children should be communicated with their teachers at school. Let the teachers handle it. It's not our role as parents to shout, get angry, and verbally abuse other children," he continued.

2. Police Report

Unable to bear seeing his child suffer, Andika immediately reported the incident to the police in order to find a resolution. Andika stated that verbal violence cannot be ignored, especially when considering the disturbed psychological condition of his child.

"If I let this go, I am worried that it will disturb my child's psychology. I believe that even verbal violence towards my child has legal consequences. Because every child has the right to grow and develop as regulated in the Child Protection Law," he concluded.

As of the release of this news, the case of verbal violence experienced by Andika Kangen Band's child is still under investigation by the police.
