Andre Taulany Disappointed That His Wife Did Not Attend the Mediation Hearing, Divorce Process Becomes Hampered

"Today's agenda was a call to the respondent, and thank God the respondent was present, but only their representative attended. The principal did not attend," said Galih Rakasiwi after the hearing.

Galih then conveyed the information he received from Erin's side regarding the reason for her absence from the courtroom. "The information I got was that she just returned from abroad, and her health is reportedly not stable yet. That's the information I received," he explained.

Erin's absence clearly caused disappointment for Andre Taulany's camp, who wanted the divorce process to proceed quickly and not drag on. The presence of both principals is an absolute requirement for mediation to be carried out and to quickly find a resolution.

"Today is clearly disappointing. It's disappointing, the point is to ask for attendance so that it can be resolved quickly, you know," said Galih. As a result, the panel of judges postponed the mediation agenda and rescheduled it for next week, requiring the presence of both parties.

"The mediation wants to continue, but not today. God willing, on Tuesday, yes, the mediation will be," said Galih. Andre's side emphasized the importance of Erin's presence in the next hearing so that the legal process does not get hindered again.

"Mr. Haji is present. The neighborhood head is also required to be present for mediation. If today there were, it would automatically be today. Since the neighborhood head is not here today, we have to wait until the neighborhood head is present, like that," he stressed.

The desire to expedite this process is also emphasized by Usman Lawala. Considering this case has been submitted multiple times, legal certainty is something they are very much hoping for.

"In that regard, we want a fast legal process, you know. The purpose of this fast legal process is so that we can obtain certainty," Usman stated.

The continuation mediation session is scheduled again for Tuesday, October 14, 2025, where the presence of Andre Taulany and Erin Taulany is mandatory.
