"Maybe I can tell a little about how I was a huge fan of him when I was in elementary school. So I bought his cassette," reminisced Andi Rianto during a press conference at Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, on Monday (06/10/2025).
In fact, so much of a fan was young Andi that he recorded Harvey's performances on television using a Betamax device. "And at that time it was still the era of TVRI and I recorded it on Betamax," he continued while laughing.
Years later, fate brought him together with the idol in a music project. That moment became an experience he would never forget.
Now, being entrusted to arrange the music for the 50th anniversary concert of Harvey Malaihollo is both a challenge and a source of pride for Andi Rianto. He is ready to present fresh arrangements for the legendary artist's hit songs.
