Andre Taulany's Legal Counsel Requests Expedited Divorce Process

Andre Taulany's party, through his legal team, Usman Lawala and Galih Rakasiwi, seeks a fast and efficient legal process in the divorce case with Erin Taulany. This desire is expressed considering that this is not the first time the case has been filed, thus legal certainty becomes the main priority.

Usman Lawala explained that they have gone through various challenging stages even before the hearing began. One of these was the verification process of the legal counsel's legitimacy for the respondent, which temporarily adjourned the hearing.

According to Usman, the experience from previous lawsuits has become a valuable lesson. "This issue is not just new this time, it has been submitted several times. It was submitted in other religious courts and so on," said Usman at the South Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (10/8/2025).

Because of this long history, his side specifically requested the panel of judges to expedite the trial schedule, especially the mediation agenda that had been postponed.

"In that regard, we desire a fast legal process, you know. The purpose of this fast legal process is to ensure that we get certainty, yes, when then the schedule can be, mediation can be carried out," he emphasized.

The request was finally granted by the panel of judges. The mediation that was supposed to wait for the hearing schedule next Wednesday has been moved up to Tuesday.

"Alhamdulillah, we have gone through several stages and have reached the conclusion that this mediation will be conducted quickly, next week," explained Usman.

"So with that, we are rescheduled to appear on Tuesday, not Wednesday, next Tuesday here at 9 AM," he concluded.

With the faster schedule, Andre's side hopes that this divorce process will not drag on like before.
