Angela Gilsha Returns to Embrace Christianity After Choosing Agnosticism for Two Years, Her Mother is Extremely Happy

Angela Gilsha herself chose to become agnostic after her brother, Marco Panari, suddenly passed away. Furthermore, many questions arose in the mind of the 'Anak Langit' soap opera player.

"So before, about two years ago, after my brother passed away. I felt like, 'Wow, why is God so mean to suddenly take my brother away' there were just many questions from myself, 'Does God really exist?'" said Angela Gilsha when met in West Jakarta, Friday (27/10/2023).

"'If God exists, why are disasters allowed, why is there hunger, why was my brother called away' there were just many questions in my head. So, I decided to just be agnostic. Yes, I believe in the Creator, but I don't want to know who it is, whether it's Allah or whoever, I didn't care at that time," added Angela Gilsha.

2. Missing Church

In the end, Angela Gilsha returned to her old religion. According to her, it happened because she felt a calling. At that time, she missed going to church. From there, she started studying the Bible again.

"But in the end, I don't know why there was suddenly a calling like, 'Why do I miss going to church? Why do I suddenly want to go to church? What is this? What's happening?' Then I asked Gerald, 'Hey, where do you go to church? I want to go together,' Gerald and Mesti," she said.

"After church, I was introduced to a mentor, then invited to study the Bible, and I said yes, 'Why is this happening, Angela? Why am I agreeing to study the Bible? Why?' I don't know why I answered yes. Until now, I never cared about the Bible or anything," she continued.

3. Already Baptized

Finally, after one year of studying the Bible again, Angela Gilsha was baptized at GHI Kuningan Church. From there, she returned to her previous religion.

"Finally, I studied slowly and eventually didn't realize that I had been studying the Bible for a year, and finally, it was time for baptism, and finally, I was baptized back into my previous belief," she said.

4. Extraordinary Happy Mother

Angela Gilsha's return to embracing her old religion is warmly welcomed by her mother. According to her, her mother is very happy to see Angela Gilsha return to her old religion.

"Mama is very happy because this is what Mama wanted all along. When I was agnostic, Mama was very sad, 'Why is her thinking like this? Why doesn't she believe in God?' and so on," she said.

"Finally, God let me explore on my own, I searched for everything. Because God knows in the end it leads to Him," she concluded.
