Angry Over Defamation Regarding Wealth Practices, Sarwendah Ready to Report to the Police?

Sarwendah's side is not staying silent seeing her name dragged into the viral issue of the Gunung Kawi wealth practices. Her lawyer, Chris Sam Siwu, stated that they are studying the circulating videos to take firm legal action.

The main focus of the legal team is to investigate the motivations behind the re-emergence of old videos with negative narratives. If elements of defamation are found, they will not hesitate to pursue legal action.

This threat is directed at social media accounts that spread slander and the party that first raised the issue. Chris mentioned the initials 'PM' as one of the parties being monitored in terms of language."We will study the circulating videos. If indeed this video is spread or framed to tarnish our client's good name, we will certainly take legal action as we have done before," said Chris Sam Siwu when met in the Tebet area, South Jakarta, on Monday (18/05/2026).

Although still open to discussion, Sarwendah's side continues to prioritize the good reputation that has been built over time. The legal team will assess whether the statements in the video are factual ordeliberately fabricated.

"To the party that is indeed in the video, I might refer to them as PM. We will see how the language is, later we will observe. If it turns out that it is merely a matter of them conveying the facts as they are, then wewill see if we can forgive it or not," said Chris Sam Siwu.

However, if the discussion reaches an impasse and the accusations are proven baseless, legal proceedings will commence immediately. Sarwendah feels aggrieved because this issue has become uncontrolled and rampant public consumption.

"But if it indeed tends to tarnish our client's name, we will definitely take action, yes, we will take action. Clearly, we will pursue legal action, we will take legal steps where, once again, our client does not want to constantlybe cornered by parties who always put them in a negative light," explained Chris.

Simon Abraham added that information from local residents or 'kuncen' at the location is likely just hearsay that cannot be proven true.

"Yes, we feel that it is somewhat a presentation that is quite superficial, not based on the actual facts. Perhaps it is to attract a crowd there. Our assumption is that it is just an empty presentation," concluded Simon Abraham.
