In his comment, Anji wrote, 'It seems like I am prohibited, I don't perform Drive's songs not because I am prohibited, but because you asked and I also show my support'.
"In that content, we explained, we made a video content about the process of making the song, we honestly tell it according to its history," said Budi in the area of Warung Buncit Raya, Kalibata, South Jakarta, Wednesday (1/11/2023).
The content is about the creation of the song Melepasmu, which turned out to be made by him, both the notation and lyrics in 2008 and then released in 2009.
"In the content, there are no words that denigrate and corner Anji, implicitly or explicitly, finally he made that comment," he said.
Apparently, before making the content earlier, the Drive personnel had made a written agreement with Anji on paper. Not only that, there were also witnesses present.
"The contents are that we agree to support each other in creating, and Anji agrees not to perform Drive's songs in his performances, well this video was made on August 14, 2023, and we uploaded it on social media on October 9, 2023," he explained.
Anji, at that time, had also signed the agreement letter and was witnessed by two witnesses, namely Doa Dibadaihollo and Robert Pieter.
"Suddenly Anji made such a statement, we were also surprised, it has nothing to do with the release of the single, his comment seems like we are going to release a single and then create a commotion," Budi concluded.
