There is an item that has become very meaningful for the musician Anji Manji after the passing of his mother, Siti Sundari. A bracelet that was always worn by the late woman until the end of her life has now passed to Anji.
He admitted that he would keep the item as a very precious memento. The bracelet was given by the housekeeper who had faithfully taken care of his mother 24 hours a day.
Anji is very grateful to the assistant named Mbak Yuli for having taken over his role in monitoring his mother's health every day.
"Oh yes, this is the bracelet that Mom wore until she passed away. I was given it by my sister," said Anji Manji when met at TPU Mangun Jaya, Bekasi Timur, West Java, on Friday (27/3/2026).
"Coincidentally, I also want to thank Sister Yuli who has been taking care of Mom all this time, replacing me and the whole family to monitor Mom 24 hours a day. And yesterday, she also passed away along with me and Sister Yuli," he continued.
Anji explained that the bracelet was a souvenir from when his mother performed the Hajj pilgrimage. Considering its historical value and memories, Anji firmly stated that he would not give the item to any other family members.
"This is a bracelet, as far as I know if I’m not mistaken, this is when Mom went on pilgrimage. So this will be a ‘talisman’ for me. Sorry to the others, family, I won’t give it away, it’s already in my hands anyway," Anji asserted.
The moment of handing over the bracelet was very emotional for Anji. The item was released from his mother’s hand just moments after the medical team declared that the deceased had passed away, and then it was immediately handed over to him.
"It was given to me after she was declared dead, then it was taken off by Mbak Yuli and given to me, ‘This is for Manji’ like that," Anji said.
Fuji and Arap are both known to be single, and netizens immediately started teasing them. They both received the nickname "Furap"!
