The case of alleged sexual violence involving the name of actor Anrez Adelio has entered a new chapter. In addition to legal issues, the status of the child recently born by the reporter, Fricielda Prillea or Icel, has become the main focus. Anrez has finally spoken out regarding his responsibility towards the child.

Anrez emphasizes that he never intended to run away from responsibility if the child is proven biologically to be his flesh and blood. However, he regrets the narrative built by Icel's side as if he disappeared and cut off communication during the pregnancy.

"There must be a DNA test first for clarity. Secondly, I never rejected the child. If that is indeed my child, I have already told her since June that I will take responsibility, I will provide for, I will take care of if it is truly my child. But it turns out the request is not just that, which is why it has become this long because of that," said Anrez Adelio when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Wednesday (8/04/2026).

Anrez admitted he was confused by Icel's attitude. According to him, from the beginning he had shown good intentions to take responsibility, but Icel's demands felt like they had grown far beyond what had been previously agreed upon.

Anrez also revealed oddities related to the DNA test procedure. If previously Icel was very vocal in demanding a DNA test, now after the child was born, Anrez feels that he is the one being made difficult to meet and carry out the medical procedure.

"That's why, logically, just to meet for the birth doesn't provide answers. So how can we do a DNA test? Even though before, it was them who were shouting for a DNA test, now they are the ones making it difficult," he said.

Regarding alimony, Anrez strongly denied accusations that he is washing his hands of the matter. He claims to have strong evidence regarding the financial contributions he has provided all this time. For him, the opinions being pushed in social media are very different from the reality he is experiencing.

"Well, this is why I've already made a statement from the beginning, that if I'm said to be irresponsible, I actually get confused. If I'm said to have no contribution, I'm also confused. Because the evidence shows otherwise," he said.

This soap opera star hopes that the investigators can view the facts objectively through the evidence he has submitted. He wants this issue to be resolved quickly through the correct and transparent legal channels.

"I always communicate, I always try to contribute with all the evidence I have. But why is the narrative 'Anrez is out of touch, no responsibility, no contribution'? That... is not true, it's not like that originally," concluded Anrez Adelio.
