Anthony believes that what happens in his household is a private matter that should not be excessively consumed by the public. He feels that the narrative developing out there regarding his relationship with Audi Marissa has crossed the line of reasonableness and tends to be speculative.
"That's still my personal business, right? So I just want to say that the negative things out there might be a bit excessive," said Anthony Xie when met at the Fairmont Hotel, Central Jakarta, recently.
Furthermore, this father of one emphasized his stance to resolve all household issues internally. He is reluctant to involve outsiders or create unnecessary drama regarding what is actually happening behind their closed doors. "This is my family matter, so I should handle it myself," said Anthony.
This man of Taiwanese descent also emphasizes that he does not feel the need to make an official clarification or issue a special statement to the public regarding this negative issue. For him, maintaining family privacy is a top priority compared to responding to every gossip circulating in society.
"It's not about me having to make a statement or anything. But this is still a matter of my own family," he said.
When the media crew tried to confirm further regarding the rumor of a divorce lawsuit that had been filed, Anthony chose not to provide a detailed answer."Thank you, thank you. Thank you, please pray for me," he concluded.
