"Back then, there was a time when I became a SPG. Then I also became an MC at the mall. Never. Because as humans, we have to be realistic. When we are in a certain position," Anwar said when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Friday (14/2/2025).
"We can't just suddenly daydream. Interview for this. There’s nothing. It’s not something I thought about. I just did the job. That I could actually do," he added.
According to him, that experience taught him many lessons. He is now aware that life should not just flow aimlessly without a purpose.
"That's why he said. His life just flows. Yes, okay, just flow. But we must have. Planning planning. Planning A. Planning B," said Anwar.
Anwar also highlighted how the world today demands everyone to be continuously creative and productive. "Especially now is the time. The time when we are all competing. Everyone is creative. Anything can be monetized. Anything can become a job. Never be lazy," he said.
He then recounted an article that had touched him. "Where can I read the article? I read it on the plane. So it was like really eye-opening. It said something like this. In China, they have made something like. A man-made sun. Then they have made. What’s it called? Development. Creating humans continuously," said Anwar.
This made him rethink the habits of some people who are still busy dealing with other people's affairs rather than focusing on their own personal development.
"But we. Are still busy taking care of others. Still busy gossiping about others. That's really a slap in the face, right? Oh, that's true. We have to think about it. So the best version. For ourselves. What do we want to do," he concluded.
