Appointed to Play the Antagonistic Reno in the Soap Opera 'SUARA HATI NUR', Aditya Herpavi Expresses Happiness

Kapanlagi.com - Aditya Herpavi plays in the Mega Series SUARA HATI NUR aired on Indosiar. He plays the role of Reno who is willing to divorce his wife Nur (Icha Annisa) in order to marry a wealthy woman, Sandra (Kenya Nindya).

"As Reno, a man who has an obsession to pursue wealth and women. He wants to become rich to the point of going to jail and taking his boss's wife. Meanwhile, there is Nur, his first wife who is left behind," said Aditya Herpavi during a virtual press conference on Monday (19/7).

Aditya Herpavi expresses his happiness to be trusted again to portray an antagonistic character. Because it has been more than a decade since he last played an antagonistic role. This also becomes a new challenge for Aditya Herpavi.

"If you usually watch Aditya, I almost never play antagonistic roles. Sometimes people miss it, it's been more than a decade since I got an antagonistic role," said Aditya Herpavi.

1. No Problem Getting Negative Comments

“So I'm really happy to take on this challenge again, starting from scratch again, researching again, re-watching old film soap operas for references to create this character Reno. If you're the protagonist, there's a limit to not overacting. But as the antagonist, I'm free to create any character,” he continued.

Because of playing the antagonist, he received a lot of criticism and negative comments from netizens. However, he doesn't mind it, instead he thanks everyone who watched.

“Nowadays, with social media, there are positive and negative comments, whether it's from haters or lovers, it's okay because it means they're paying attention to our soap opera. Thank you to the haters who watched, the more enthusiastic they are about my villainous role, the more people watch, but that's only on TV, right, moms?” he concluded with a laugh.

This soap opera SUARA HATI NUR is relatively new. Aditya is not alone, he acts alongside a series of other actresses and actors. There's Icha Anisa, Kenya Nindia Elsa, Ciarachel Fourneaux, Bryan Andrew, Firstriana Aldila, Ferdi Ali, and Menco Hidayat.
