This recipe is suitable as a snack for children and families to enjoy together.
"If you're tired of processing kurban meat into satay or rendang, that means you must know this. Because this time, together with MEG Cheese, I will make something new from the processed kurban meat that is very easy and also very fun to be a snack at home with family, which is Muffin Baked Beef Bolognese," said Chef Arnold.
To make Muffin Baked Beef Bolognese, the ingredients that need to be prepared are beef stock, tomato paste, sugar, bay leaves, lemongrass, celery stalk, onion, garlic, carrot, oregano, pepper powder, minced beef, and MEG Cheese.
The method, one celery stalk, half an onion, and two carrots are chopped into small pieces. Then, they are put into a pan with oil. Stir, then add lemongrass and a little garlic with low heat.
After the aroma comes out, add minced beef. After that, add a little garlic again. Then add tomato paste, sauté with medium heat until the color becomes darker to make it savory and sweet.
After that, add beef stock, oregano, ground pepper, and a little sugar to enhance the sweetness.
After it is done, put the mixture into wonton skin as a substitute for pasta sheet. Then, put MEG Slice Melt cheese on top of the bolognese mixture. Then, put it in the oven, let it sit for about 10 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
"This MEG slice melt cheese melts easily and adds a sensation and savory taste," said Chef Arnold.
After being removed from the oven, wait until it cools down. Muffin Baked Beef Bolognese is ready to be served.
Not only sharing the recipe, Chef Arnold also shares tips on processing meat to keep it savory. Meat that is not processed properly will result in a tough texture and can even reduce the quality of the meat itself. This is important to know considering that meat has many benefits when processed correctly.
"I won't tell you, the key to getting meat that remains savory is when you put the meat in to cook, make sure there is a seasoning sound and the color is brownish, not gray. If it's gray, it means that the steam from the meat is still trapped, causing the savory taste to decrease. And before the steam disappears, don't flip the meat first." Chef Arnold explained.
