Armand Maulana Auctions Beloved Items to Help Victims of the Covid-19 Pandemic

The owner, whose real name is Tubagus Armand, is participating in helping the victims of the pandemic by auctioning off his personal belongings.

"I see many stage outfits that are no longer used and seeing the conditions caused by the coronavirus, many people have lost their jobs and so on. So, I took the initiative to auction off my belongings. The important thing is the intention to do charity," said Armand.

1. Positive Response

Dewi Gita's husband admitted to being surprised during the first auction. The response from people who are financially well-off is so high in helping others.

"During the first auction, my sneakers were sold for Rp 24 million, I was shocked. As for clothes, I sell them cheaply, like a garage sale, with prices ranging from 100 thousand to a maximum of 200 thousand," said Armand.

2. Collaboration with Athletes and Officials

After the success of the first auction, Armand then took the initiative to collaborate with other celebrities, athletes, and officials.

"Maybe Allah wants to help me in this way. I got the idea from a friend to collaborate. Finally, for the first collaboration, I called Kevin Sanjaya, and asked him for one item, I said 'Vin, I want your most historic item for donation', and he gave me three," he recalled.

"From there, the collaboration continued. We had athletes and artists, and finally, I wanted politicians. Finally, the website suggested Pak Ridwan Kamil and Pak Ganjar (Pranowo)," he added.

3. Prevent the Spread of Corona

The condition that is still not fully improved makes many people hope that this pandemic can end soon. Every possible way is done to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Including through the implementation of health protocols in daily life.
