The Eid al-Adha moment for the family of Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty this year feels different because both are currently performing the pilgrimage in the Holy Land. Nevertheless, the process of submitting the sacrificial animal continued with their daughter, Arsy Hermansyah, representing them.
In a vlog post, Arsy Hermansyah was seen reading the declaration of the submission of the sacrificial animal named Harison to the mosque committee. Check out the moment here, KLovers.
Arsy Hermansyah represented Anang Hermansyah and Ashanty to submit the sacrificial animal this year. It is known that both of her parents are currently performing the pilgrimage in the Holy Land.
The Hermansyah family named their sacrificial cow Harison. "Alhamdulillah, I can represent my mother and father who are currently performing worship in the holy land, to submit the cow (which we named Harison) for sacrifice," they wrote.
Before the submission took place, Arsy Hermansyah met with the sacrificial committee. He then read the sacrificial pledge fluently in front of the mosque committee.
"I hand over this sacrificial animal, one cow, to the mosque committee to be slaughtered and distributed to those entitled. May it be accepted by Allah SWT.” The submission was immediately received by the sacrificial committee.
In this moment, Arsy came to the slaughtering location with her grandmother, brother, sister, and her assistants. The slaughtering location is at the mushola behind their house in Cinere.
Ashanty also left a comment when she saw her daughter representing her and her husband in the animal sacrifice ceremony. "Wow, my sister has grown up." she wrote.
In her post, Ashanty hopes that the meat from Harison's sacrifice can bring benefits to many people. "I hope the sacrificial meat can bring happiness and benefits to many people, and may it be a path of blessings for everyone. Aamiin," wrote Ashanty.
