Denny Cagur is not just a big motorcycle enthusiast, but he also sees this hobby as a form of self-appreciation. Amid his busy schedule as a comedian and now a member of the parliament, Denny admits that motorcycle touring is one of his best ways to find tranquility.

Denny revealed that his first big motorcycle is a manifestation of his hard work over the years in the entertainment industry.

"Yes, that's true, because back then from morning till night, one of the things that made me happy was the motorcycle, so we have moments during touring, refreshing, finding happiness, enjoyment that we don't get," he said when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Monday (14/4/2025).

For Denny, touring is not just about riding a motorcycle, but also about building closeness with loved ones, including his child who is now entering their teenage years.

"I like it because my kid is now getting older, so I make this hobby a way to get closer to my child. When we go trail riding, we can spend from 6 AM to 6 PM together," said Denny.

He feels that quality time with his child is very important, especially at a teenage age when they need a lot of guidance from their parents.

"So we can really talk about anything all day long, about everything he likes, because my kid is getting older and we need to talk more heart-to-heart as men. Don’t do this, don’t do that, you should do this," he said.

However, due to the busyness of his child who is now studying out of town, the intensity of touring together has decreased.

"Sometimes I join, sometimes I don't, because Abie is now in school out of town, boarding school, it's been a long time since he joined, but a while ago he did join," he added.

Despite that, Denny continues to maintain his hobby by touring with his own community, which he has come to regard as family.
