Through a post on Instagram, Ashanty mentioned that her secret to looking slim now is by doing intermittent fasting or IF. “Many are asking why I am so thin now? The key answer is just IF…” she wrote on Instagram.

Ashanty also honestly revealed that the process of finding the right method did not happen quickly. She mentioned it took her up to five years to understand what was most suitable for her body. “I have been doing this for 5 years, starting from the wrong methods, until I finally found the most suitable one!!” she stated.

In her statement, Ashanty emphasized that she actually only lost 5 kilograms. However, the change looks significant because her face was the first to appear slimmer. “Honestly, this past year I only lost 5kg, but it’s very noticeable because when I lose weight, my face is the first thing that shows,” said Ashanty.

Ashanty admitted that she used to almost never exercise because she felt lazy and lacked motivation. However, after trying the gym, her perspective changed completely. “Well, for my body, I used to be considered really lazy about exercising, but after getting to know the gym for a year, I became really addicted, especially when I saw the results,” wrote Ashanty.

The wife of Anang Hermansyah now regularly does strength training and weight lifting at the gym 3-4 times a week. This routine has become an important part of her transformation. “I definitely do strength training and weight lifting 3-4 times a week,” she revealed.

To make the results more visible, Ashanty combines weight training with cardio. She feels that the combination of the two makes her body more balanced and strong. “I usually combine it with cardio too so that the results are more optimal,” she said.

Ashanty stated that the secret to her now slim body is not just due to weight loss, but because of increased muscle mass. She uses a smart scale to monitor her body changes. “Especially when I weigh myself using the smart scale, there is an increase in lean muscle mass and my stomach becomes flat, my body is definitely healthier,” she wrote.
