Atta Halilintar Tries to Be Strong in Holding a Proposal Without Parents, Happy to See Krisdayanti Present

Kapanlagi.com - Last Saturday afternoon (13/3/2021), Atta Halilintar officially proposed to Aurel Hermansyah after being engaged for almost a year. When asking for permission from Anang Hermansyah, Atta had difficulty speaking for a few moments due to being emotional.

To the media, he felt that the proposal was incomplete without the presence of his parents and siblings. The event was only attended by representatives from the Halilintar family, Anofial Asmid, who is in Jakarta, and one of his siblings, Thariq Halilintar.

"This is my dream moment, one of the most... I never expected that I would propose to someone's child and want to marry someone's child. And I also thought about my parents who are currently sick in Malaysia. Oh... it's a mix of emotions, I'm happy, sad, worried, and everything. My heart is in turmoil. But after the proposal was accepted, I'm really happy," said Atta in a press conference after the proposal process in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta.

Although the engagement ceremony was not attended by both of her parents, Atta Halilintar is happy to see Aurel Hermansyah's parents gathered together. As someone whom he considers as his own parents, Atta is relieved to see them as witnesses to this important moment.

"I'm really happy. I told her (Aurel), 'Wow, I'm so happy that everything is complete, Mimi is here, Bunda is here, Pipi is here'. Because no matter what, the blessing of parents is the blessing from God. I feel comforted even though my parents are not present, but seeing her parents, all three of them, it's like seeing my own parents," added Atta.

2. Plan to Take Aurel to Malaysia

The wedding ceremony itself will be held in early April, if possible, Atta Halilintar hopes that both of his parents and his siblings can attend the sacred moment. If not, he plans to take Aurel to Malaysia to meet them in person.

"My dream has always been to have all eleven of my siblings present at my wedding, and my parents too. So that my parents can recover and receive proper treatment, so that they can meet soon. If it's not possible, Insha Allah, after the ceremony, I will take (Aurel) to Malaysia to visit my parents. Insha Allah," said Muhammad Attamimi Halilintar, the owner of this birth name.
