Aulia Farhan, Star of the Street Children Soap Opera, Caught Using Drugs, Positive for Methamphetamine

Kapanlagi.com - Drug cases once again color the entertainment world of the homeland. Previously there was Lucinta Luna who was caught with ecstasy and several pills. Now, it's Aulia Farhan's turn, the actor of the Street Children soap opera, who was arrested by the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.

This was confirmed by the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Yusri Yunus, when met on Thursday (20/2/2020). The police not only arrested Aulia Farhan but also another person with the initials G.

1. Arrested in the Early Morning

"This morning around 02.00 WIB, the Sub-Directorate II of Narcotics of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police successfully arrested two suspects who are currently under our handling. The first one with the initial G and the other one with the initials AF or FP," said Commissioner Yusri.

Furthermore, Yusri explained that both of them were apprehended in the hotel lobby. "These two individuals were detained in one of the hotels in South Jakarta, in the lobby of Amaris Hotel," he added.

2. Ordered Methamphetamine

Initially, G was found carrying one package of suspected methamphetamine, as well as one package that was empty plastic, presumably used.

"Then, during the interrogation, G revealed that the methamphetamine was ordered by someone with the initials AF. The team immediately proceeded to arrest the person who happened to be in the same hotel," said Yusri.

3. There are Several Pieces of Evidence

When arrested, the police found several pieces of evidence. "Then they found tools like a bong to inhale crystal meth and three other illegal drugs," said Yusri.

The police are currently investigating this case. Meanwhile, both AF and G are suspects. They have also undergone urine tests. "Both tested positive. Positive for crystal meth," Yusri explained.

Furthermore, Yusri also revealed that both suspects have been using crystal meth for 6 months. "This is their initial confession, around six months. It's an initial confession, but we still need to further investigate," Yusri concluded.
