Kapanlagi.com - The divorce of parents indeed has a significant impact on children, and Aurel Hermansyah, the first child of Aurel Hermansyah, felt the impact when her parents chose to separate. The eldest child of Anang Hermansyah and Krisdayanti even experienced stress and trauma when remembering that.

It was revealed in Rian D'Masiv's YouTube video recently. As a guest on his YouTube content, Rian asked what had left a lasting impression on Aurel until now.

"The toughest experience that was hard for me, maybe I can't forget it, it's just like leaving a mark. It's always in my mind, and for me, it's like, sometimes I feel traumatized and scared," said Aurel, as quoted from Rian Eki Pradipta's YouTube video, Thursday (11/6/2020).

1. Childhood Trauma

The separation of Aurel's parents caused a deep trauma, even until she became an adult. Moreover, at the time of the incident, her older brother Azriel Hermansyah was still very young.

"That was when I was little, when my parents separated like that. That's what it's like, sometimes I still think about it, like that. It's because at that time I was still young, still small, so I definitely knew what it was like, the trauma was so big," said Aurel.

2. How to Rise

Left by her mother, Aurel, who was still young at the time, had to face a bitter reality. However, she was very fortunate to meet a father like Anang and a stepmother like Ashanty who were able to help her rise from the trauma.

"Alhamdulillah, there are many things. Like my mom said to me, I am a strong child, a woman who becomes strong when she grows up," said Aurel.

"Well, I also don't really understand why I can be this strong, because it's really from the family, from the parents, from my mom and dad who always give me encouragement. And I am the type of child who is like, well, I'm just lazy, you know," she continued.

3. Learn Sincerely

Aurel herself also said that she has started learning to be more sincere with the situation. However, the name of a big wound and trauma is indeed very difficult to forget.

"Sometimes, a wound or, even though it's been a long time and we're both happy, it still leaves a mark. So now I'm trying to learn to accept it. But sometimes it still comes to mind," she said.
