“We rarely go to the mall when we're dating. We prefer fishing, which costs 80 thousand for two hours. It's more exciting like that,” said Amanda Manopo when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (10/8).

1. To Avoid Monotonous Dating

Initially, it was Amanda Manopo who invited her boyfriend to accompany her fishing, and it turned out that Billy Syahputra also liked it. Amanda Manopo likes to do new things to avoid boring relationships.

“I learned fishing because I had never done it before. Initially, I invited him. I wanted to go fishing. After that, he followed my will. When he tried it, it turned out to be really fun. So, after finishing shooting, he went fishing,” explained Amanda Manopo.

“Usually, I want to do things I haven't done before. So, try something new so that the relationship doesn't become monotonous,” she continued.

2. Willing to be Bitten by Mosquitoes

Fishing has become their hobby now. They are even willing to be bitten by mosquitoes while waiting for their catch. Furthermore, they also want to do other fun activities that they have never done before.

"We wait while being bitten by mosquitoes. It's fun because we compete with each other. Who can catch the most catfish, who can catch the heaviest catfish," said Amanda Manopo.

"Maybe next time we want to learn other things. For now, Billy really likes it. Fishing has become his hobby, so maybe if he cheats, it's probably with catfish," she concluded.
