Ayu Azhari Reveals First Experience Playing Ketoprak

Kapanlagi.com - Actress and singer Ayu Azhari joined the Ketoprak Damarwulan feat. Minak Jinggo event with Pawarta Jogya, Kagama Depok, and Banhubda DIY at Binakarna, Bidakara, Jakarta, on Friday, July 28, 2023.

According to Ayu, being able to play Ketoprak was an extraordinary experience for her. Moreover, the Ambassador of Germany to Indonesia, Ina Ruth Luise Lepel, also participated in the performance.

"I'm happy, really happy to be able to play with important people," said Ayu Azhari after the event.

"The German Ambassador also played a role, I asked her how she felt, and she also felt the same because it was her first time," continued Ayu Azhari.

1. First Time

For Ayu, this is the first time she has played in the Ketoprak art. She played the role of Queen Kencono Wungu.

Ayu, who already has a lot of acting experience, admits that she did not have any difficulties. Speaking Javanese language in the dialogue was not a problem for her.

"There were several rehearsals, but the support from the team really influenced and became a point that motivated us," said Ayu.

The wife of Mike Tramp admitted that she is addicted to playing in Ketoprak art. "If there is time, God willing, I would like to do it again," she said.
