Ayu Wisya, a Relaxing Influencer, Reported by Doddy Sudrajat for Alleged Defamation

Kapanlagi.com - Influencer Ayu Wisya was reported by the late Vanessa Angel's father, Doddy Sudrajat, on Friday, January 14, 2022. Ayu was reported to the Jakarta Metro Police for alleged defamation.

Initially, Ayu Wisya admitted to being surprised when she found out that she was reported by Gala Sky's grandfather. However, Doddy's report didn't make Ayu Wisya panic, instead she responded calmly.

"I was surprised, of course, why suddenly I was reported like that and my intention wasn't directed towards him. That's why I'm just relaxed," said Ayu Wisya at Langit Entertainment, Ciledug, South Jakarta, on Friday (20/1/2022).

Ayu explained that the viral video of her eating Padang rice was made in 2019. Initially, the video was made in the Minang language. However, in order to be understood by a wider audience, Ayu made the same video again in Indonesian.

"Actually, I had made a video of eating like that while talking, I forgot if it was in 2018/2019 and it was in the Minang language. But because I uploaded it on TikTok, I used Indonesian so that more people could understand," she said.

2. Immediately Viral

Apparently, the comedy video made by Ayu immediately went viral on social media. However, the video she made had no intention of insulting or defaming anyone.

"Suddenly, when I released the video like that, it unexpectedly went viral. Actually, I didn't have any specific intention to point out, insult, or defame 1, 2, or 3 individuals," said Ayu.

3. No Regrets

Although Doddy Sudrajat has reported Ayu for alleged defamation, she admitted that she does not regret making the video. Moreover, the viral TikTok video was only intended as comedy content.

"There is no regret. Maybe after this, like what Bang Mirwan (Ayu Wisya's lawyer) said before making the next content, if I mention names or characters or stories, I apologize in advance if there are any mistakes in the story, name, or place, there is no intention, it's just fictional," said Ayu.

4. No Legal Action

Meanwhile, Ayu Wisya's lawyer, Mirwan, stated that there is no legal action taken by him and his client. According to him, if Doddy has given an ultimatum, the grandfather of Gala Sky does not need to talk too much. It is better to prove the accusations made by Doddy against Ayu.

"If you have given an ultimatum, don't just talk to the media, take action. Let us know and prove to the police that there is no defamation. Because this accusation tarnishes my client's name, let the law prove it," he said.

5. Warning Received

Before reporting Ayu Wisya, Mirwan said that Doddy Sudrajat had sent a warning letter twice. However, the letter was not responded to by Mirwan.

"(Communication) Oh, there was no response from their side, only the first and second letters. But we did not respond, answer, or send a reply letter. There was no contact or communication from their side either. So we are in a wait and see mode. Please prove your ultimatum and we will follow the legal process," concluded Mirwan.
