Ayushita Admits Life Changed After Marrying Gerald Situmorang, Now Always Wants to Go Home Quickly

Kapanlagi.com - Ayushita admits there has been a significant change in her since she officially married musician Gerald Situmorang in February 2026. The change is most felt when she has to be apart from her husband due to work.

"Not long after the wedding, I had to go on a work trip. I had to shoot in Malaysia for several weeks. From there, the difference was very noticeable," said Ayushita when met at XXI Epicentrum, South Jakarta, recently.

"Usually, I go anywhere and do anything by myself, but now there's a feeling like something is missing. So, I just want to go home quickly," she added.

Ayushita admitted that she was once overwhelmed with worry thinking about her husband's condition at home while she was shooting out of town. She only felt this after becoming a wife.

"I felt worried like, 'Oh no, is he okay? Am I gone too long? What will happen?'" said Ayushita.

However, Ayushita emphasized that this did not become a major issue because she and Gerald support each other's work. They also make an effort to find time to accompany each other amidst their busy schedules.

"However, because we both fully support each other's work, it doesn't become a problem. Whenever there is an opportunity or if I have some free time while he is busy, I will join him and watch his activities. We support each other and chat," said Ayushita.

2. Adapting to Being a Wife

Regarding the process of adapting to being a wife, Ayushita admitted that she never faced significant difficulties since the beginning of her marriage. She mentioned that everything went naturally.

"No, at the beginning, I never forgot anything," said Ayushita.

Ayushita is currently also busy with her latest film, "Anak-Anak Bambu", which will be released in theaters starting July 23, 2026. This film produced by Theana Pictures also stars Indra Birowo, Irgi Fahrezi, Sonny Septian, and Fairuz A. Rafiq.
