For Azizah Salsha, padel is no longer just a trend, but has become a routine hobby.
"It's just a hobby, so it's like a sport that I play every day," said Azizah Salsha when met at GOR UNJ, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Saturday (1/11/2025).

Interestingly, Zize, as she is affectionately called, revealed that she and her partner, Angie Marcheria, actually started their racket sports hobby with tennis. However, over time, they decided to switch to padel.
"Yes, we initially played tennis," said Zize.

The reason behind the switch is actually quite simple. According to them, the padel community is now much larger, making it easier to find playing partners.

"It's just that there are more friends playing padel, it's easier to find people, there are more padel, so we now prefer Padel," Zize continued.

His love for padel is serious. Amid his busy schedule, Zize always makes time to train intensively.
"Eh, three times, four times a week," he said.

Even so, he still distinguishes between training sessions and official matches. When asked about his appearance, which remains on point with makeup on the court, Zize admitted that he only does that during tournaments.
"Because it's just during tournaments. Usually, when we exercise, no, no, no makeup," he explained.

Angie Marcheria added that during regular training, makeup can actually feel bothersome due to the intensity of their game, which is quite extreme and makes them sweat a lot.
"Our training is quite intense, the gameplay is extreme, so the sweating is really heavy. So wearing makeup feels a bit uncomfortable," Angie concluded.
