Azura's First Birthday, Aurel Hermansyah and Atta Halilintar Held a Sea Kingdom Themed Party

Kapanlagi.com - The youngest daughter of Aurel Hermansyah and Atta Halilintar, Azura Humaira Nur Atta, just celebrated her first birthday on November 11, 2024. The celebration of this special moment was lively with an underwater kingdom themed party held at The Manor Andara, Depok, West Java, on Sunday (17/11/2024).

The event was attended by around 300 invited guests, including celebrity friends who brought their children along. The party decorations, dominated by pastel colors, further beautified the atmosphere, creating a cheerful vibe that matched the under the sea theme. Interestingly, Aurel revealed that this event was organized on short notice.

“Alhamdulillah, actually we planned this event very suddenly, we just prepared it a week ago, so it was very hectic. I’m glad we could hold Azura’s first birthday party,” said Aurel.

1. Want to Throw a Party Like Ameena

This mother of two added that initially they did not plan to throw a big party and only intended to celebrate at home. Atta explained that the family had previously held a simple event at home with close relatives.

“There was already an event at home at that time, but only the grandparents and siblings came,” he said.

However, Aurel felt she wanted to give the same treatment as her sister, Ameena, who had also celebrated her birthday in a grand manner. “Yesterday I saw Ameena having a party, how could the younger sibling not have one? In the end, we decided to do it. I’m happy that almost all the guests came, and the kids were entertained,” Aurel added.

The under the sea theme was chosen because Azura loves water, the sea, and sea animals. The whole family dressed up in costumes according to the theme. Aurel looked beautiful in a mermaid costume, while Atta chose a simpler style.

“If I wear something sparkly like this, I’m afraid I’ll be asked to sing dangdut,” joked Atta, eliciting laughter.

2. Don't Want to Differentiate Treatment Towards Children

When asked about their habit of photographing their children's milestones, Aurel explained the difference in concept between Ameena and Azura. “Ameena has a flower theme from 1-12 months, and when she turns 1, we make a collage. For Azura, we use fruit, and after the photo is taken, it can be eaten,” she said.

Atta added that this decision is also to maintain fair treatment towards both of his children. “The point is the mother doesn't want to treat the first and second child differently. She fears that when they grow up, they will say, ‘why does Mama treat the first and second child differently?’” Atta explained.

Aurel admitted that she was happy to see Azura so joyful with the party concept. “Azura was really happy since morning; just looking at the backdrop made her go wow,” she said.
