Baby's Heartbeat Weakened, Chacha Frederica Decides to Have a Cesarean Section

Kapanlagi.com - Good news came from the couple Chacha Frederica and Dico Ganinduto who have just given birth to a baby girl on early Saturday morning (25/4/2020) around 01.00 AM local time. The actress initially wanted to have a normal delivery, but eventually chose the cesarean process.

"Yes, Chacha gave birth at one in the morning. Chacha wanted a normal delivery, but her condition required her to have a cesarean," said Hera Sudiyar, Chacha's mother, when contacted by phone.

1. Weakened Heartbeat

Chacha Frederica was happy when she found out that her condition allowed for a normal delivery. But as the day changed, unexpectedly, something happened.

"In the afternoon, during the examination, it was already four centimeters dilated. Then at seven in the evening, it was already six centimeters dilated. So Chacha was happy, the nurse said the progress was good, fast, it's possible that she could give birth before midnight, Insha Allah," said Hera.

2. Is the Baby Tired?

"At 23:30, it will be checked again because the nurse assumed that the opening was six, at that time it was close to delivery. But at 23:00 it turned out that the amniotic sac had already ruptured and the opening was still at six. The baby's heartbeat was weak, possibly because it was already tired since Thursday (contractions). Like this, the possibility of a caesarean section will be taken," she continued.

3. Chacha Firm on Caesarean Section

The doctor offered Chacha Frederica the choice of a normal delivery or a caesarean section. However, when she found out that her baby's heartbeat was weakening, she quickly made a decision.

"The doctor came to examine and offered Chacha if she still wanted to try a normal delivery? Because Chacha had requested a normal delivery to the doctor. The doctor said, 'Let's wait for another 10 minutes, I will assist with induction.' Chacha said, 'Oh no... No, doctor, it's not good for the baby, a caesarean section is also fine.' So, a caesarean section was performed immediately, very quickly," Hera concluded.

4. Named Cassia

The beautiful baby named Cassia Shakir Ganinduto was born at RSIA Bunda, Menteng area, Central Jakarta. She was born weighing 2.8 kg and measuring 48 cm.
